Description:
Hosta Fire & Ice (Hosta 'Fire and Ice') is a striking, compact perennial celebrated for its dramatic variegated foliage. Each leaf features a pure white center sharply contrasted by deep green margins, creating a bold display in any shade garden. The leaves are heart-shaped, heavily twisted, and form a dense mound of thick foliage. In midsummer, tall stalks rise above the plant, topped with lavender to purple, bell-shaped flowers that attract hummingbirds and pollinators. This hosta is a reverse sport of the popular 'Patriot' hosta and is perfect for borders, mass plantings, containers, or as a specimen in shady beds.
